1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing and using GrantMapper (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. The Service is operated by:

2. Service Description
GrantMapper offers guidance, information, and digital tools for EU grant applications. Some features may integrate with third-party AI or Large Language Model (“LLM”) services.
3. Account Registration & Security
You may need to register for an account. You are responsible for safeguarding login credentials and are liable for all activities on your account.
4. Permitted Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes, in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
5. User Content & Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of any content, data, documents, or information you upload, input, or create using the Service (“User Content”).
By submitting User Content, you grant Akora SIA a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, and process User Content solely for operating, improving, and providing the Service.
User Content Indemnification:
Users warrant that all User Content does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights, confidential information, or proprietary rights. Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Akora SIA from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from User Content or IP violations.
6. User Warranties & Compliance
Users warrant and represent that they will:
- Comply with all applicable intellectual property, privacy, and data protection laws.
- Obtain necessary permissions for all content uploaded or processed through the Service.
- Not upload confidential, proprietary, or legally protected information without authorization.
- Indemnify Akora SIA against any violations of these warranties.
7. Third-Party AI Services & Integrations
- The Service may integrate third-party AI/LLM providers.
- Use of AI features is subject to the terms, conditions, and privacy policies of those third-party AI providers.
- Akora SIA disclaims all liability for third-party AI service performance, availability, accuracy, or data handling practices.
- Any data processed by third-party AI services is governed by the respective provider's privacy policy.
- Users must review and accept those terms before using AI features.
8. Privacy & Data Protection
Your privacy is important. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how your personal information is collected, used, and protected.
User Responsibility for Data Compliance:
Users are solely responsible for ensuring their use of the Service complies with all applicable data protection laws (including GDPR). Users warrant that they have obtained all necessary consents for any personal data processed through the Service.
Data Processing Disclaimer:
Akora SIA processes user data solely as a service provider. Users remain the data controller for any personal data input into the Service and are responsible for lawful processing and compliance.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Akora SIA provides the Service “as is” without warranties, express or implied.
In no event shall Akora SIA be liable to any user for any indirect, consequential, punitive, or special damages, or for any loss of data, loss of profits, or unfulfilled grant outcomes, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service or any integrations.
Akora SIA's total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service will be limited to the amount actually paid by the user for the Service during the 12-month period immediately preceding the claim.
Under no circumstances shall Akora SIA be required to refund, reimburse, or otherwise pay back any amounts previously paid for use of the Service, except as required by applicable law.
No user shall have the right to recover or demand repayment of service fees or any other monies paid to Akora SIA outside of statutory refund rights.
10. Subscription Cancellation & Termination
Monthly Subscriptions:
Users may terminate their account and cancel automatic renewal by providing at least 30 days' written notice sent to info@grantmapper.com. Termination will be effective at the end of the current monthly billing cycle.
Yearly Subscriptions:
Users may prevent automatic renewal of their yearly subscription by providing at least 30 days' written notice prior to the annual renewal date sent to info@grantmapper.com. The current yearly subscription will remain active until its natural expiration date.
No Refunds Policy:
No refunds or reimbursements will be issued for any monthly or yearly subscription fees or other payments already made prior to termination, except where required by law. Access to premium features will continue through the remainder of the paid subscription period unless terminated for cause.
Akora SIA may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these Terms, applicable law, or third-party rights without prior notice.
11. Force Majeure
Akora SIA is not liable for failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including third-party service outages or regulatory changes.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of Latvia. Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with Latvian law and jurisdiction.
Any disputes shall be resolved by confidential arbitration in Latvia, unless prohibited by law.
13. Changes to Terms
Akora SIA may update these Terms. Users will be notified of changes via the Service or by email. Continued use means acceptance of updated Terms.
